Our LT40 now has an extra extension to make up to 62" wide cuts. Of course at this size, we really benefit from heavy equipment on site to maneuver the log.
This is my first video with our new Skydio drone and it really puts this job in perspective. The sawmill weighs about 4000 lbs, this log was about double that at 50"+ in diameter and 10' long. The customer's excavator had to grunt a little with that one.
If you have some massive logs you need milled, we're ready to get the job done. And don't worry if heavy equipment isn't available. We've milled up to a 1200 bdft log with nothing more than some farm jacks to help load. And at worst if the log is completely inaccessible, we always have our chainsaw mill to fall back on.
